My Christmas Wishlist consists of simple things. I pondered about this list for almost an hour and there's no doubt in my mind that these are the top five (5) items I would love to receive this Christmas. Just thinking about having them already excites me.
1. A journal or
diary. I'm still old-fashioned when it comes to journaling. I still prefer an old, reliable noteboo
k with lined sheets of paper and a fine-tip pen over a laptop.
2. Colored fine-tip pens. To be exclusively used for wri
t
in
g on my Christmas Wishlist #1. I will use a particul
ar color dependin
g on my mood for the day or just whatever color I
fancy at that moment. Somehow, the colors will help tell the story.
3. Cute s
tickers. I admit I'm still
very much a kid at heart. It's so easy to please me. Just show me anything cute and I'm happy. I love cute stuff like cute stickers. I posted a lot of stickers on the pages of my planner before. I had one booklet of "smiley" stickers and another booklet of embossed Snoopy stickers. Putting stickers on the pages of my journal-cum-pla
nner allowed me to express myself a little bit more creatively.
4. A small doodle book. For my grocery list or to write down anything that come
s
to
mind -- ideas, thoughts, nice quotations read from a source, new words that I wo
uld like to
us
e, things to do for the day, things to buy, etc. etc
.
5. A three-
fold striking orange-colored umbrella small enough to fit inside my bag. Well, you know how unpredictable the weather is,
nowada
ys. It always pays to be ready at all times. Whenever there's a downpour, I'd just have to dig inside my bag and voila! -- I have my orange umbrella on the rescue. No more "basang-sisiw" look.
