I have already lost count the times that I dined at Red Ribbon.  I have tasted all their cakes, from the "classics" to their latest cake offerings. I should be a Red Ribbon stockholder.

I am one cake-a-holic.  Whenever I see a new sweet treat on the display shelves of Red Ribbon, I make sure to order that new baby. It would be a sin not to try it as soon as it comes out. That was exactly what I did when Red Ribbon's White Forest Cake came out.  I immediately went to my favorite Red Ribbon branch and ordered a meal & a slice of White Forest.

I must say that Red Ribbon has, again, a winner in its new White Forest Cake. In its pristine condition, it is a sight to behold! It looks so lovely. But, what really makes this cake even more special is that it tastes more divine than it looks. The moment I sank my teeth into a slice of it, I was in heaven. Not only was it love at first sight, it was also love at first bite.

This was the very reason why it was the one I wanted to bring home as the birthday cake of my youngest daughter who was turning four months old. I wanted my whole family to experience its heavenly taste. And indeed, they loved it too.

It was nearing midnight when we lit up the candle on the cake for the birthday celebrant to see and mesmerize at. After blowing out the candle for her, my family couldn't wait to sample the cake that I've been raving about for the past days. Just like me, my tweener and my toddler, who was dressed like an angel that night, loved those cherries on top. My husband, who's not much of a dessert-lover, actually found himself complimenting its taste, after finishing a slice. Well, that was much to his and my surprise.

The White Forest Cake, which got its inspiration from its black counterpart, the Black Forest Cake, has the right lightness and creaminess to it. Its sweetness level is just perfect and would definitely not put you into a diabetic attack.

The cake's main ingredients are: White Chocolate- creamy and has that melt-in-your-mouth attribute; Vanilla Chiffon Cake- soft and tender, moist and light; Cherry Filling- like a jam that was generously spread in between the layers, and; White Chocolate Shavings- that look so immaculate as it resemble that of an angel's wings. Pretty as its crowning glory are the long-stemmed, red maraschino cherries, placed on creamy, white chocolate rosettes. All these ingredients are luxuriously and gloriously executed, creating one masterpiece.

My entire family enjoyed our bonding moment over Red Ribbon's White Forest Cake. Partaking it was of peak experience and I couldn't be happier.
